At Equirize Finserv, we believe that small business owners—especially women—are among the most prudent and committed borrowers. Yet, they remain overlooked by mainstream financial services. Most institutions are built around the assumption that the ideal customer is male, urban, and high-income. This bias leaves behind millions of creditworthy individuals who drive local economies and support household livelihoods across Bharat.

We exist to make financial services work for the people they’ve historically ignored—women, rural entrepreneurs, and low-to-middle income business owners. Our work is grounded in the lived realities of these borrowers and backed by deep field experience. Our founding team brings decades of prior work designing and scaling solutions specifically for women and for Bharat, and Equirize FinServ is a natural extension of that commitment.

We also believe that directing private sector capital toward closing India’s credit gap—especially for women—is one of the most powerful ways to create lasting change. When women gain access to growth credit, they build businesses, create jobs, and participate more fully in the formal workforce. This doesn’t just empower individuals—it boosts household incomes, drives economic growth, and contributes to a more equitable and prosperous India.
